They love cooking & entertaining
but their Chicago condo’s kitchen was not well-suited to the activities they loved to share with each other and friends.
It started with a stove and hood that were not built with good ventilation. Add on limited storage and a floor plan that lacked a dining room. Not a great recipe for communing with loved ones over great food. They loved their neighborhood and were invested in making their home a place to cherish with friends.
The need presented itself: redesign the kitchen with proper ventilation, maximize storage with more drawer-equipped cabinets, and create a convertible dining table/counter extension solution in the limited area. The transformation has brought far more functionality to the space that they cherish the most and added immeasurable fulfillment in their daily lives.
